Lina Kotecha
Associate Dentist BDS (Birm) 2000 | GDC No. 078081 Lina is dedicated to helping her patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. She gets a tremendous amount of satisfaction from seeing patients feel more confident about themselves and their smiles. She feels it is really important to listen to her patients and work with them to find a solution to their problems which meets their individual needs whether they want routine preventative dental care, smile makeovers or facial rejuvenation via her Faces by Lina brand.
Lina has been qualified as a dentist for over 22 years and is interested in achieving only the very best she can for her patients and the practice. This means ‘getting things right’, and continuously moving forward, utilising new technologies and skills. She is always keen to develop her skills further and spends a lot of her spare time on dental courses.
She has a reputation for consistent and high quality work and Lina’s passionate, professional yet relaxed approach will put patients at ease during consultations and treatment.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in facial aesthetics, cosmetic dentistry and treatment of nervous patients. Lina believes in treating patients with total understanding and empathy to their needs. She says “I would always treat patients the same as if I were to treat my family – with total care and respect whilst providing them with the best dental care and choices they deserve”. She approaches dentistry in a unique way that involves positive change, minimal intervention and lots of laughter along the way.
Lina provides our facial rejuvenation treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and thread lifts. She has completed a Masterclass in Facial Aesthetics run by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioner in 2015 passing with a distinction. Lina believes that as dentists they are dually trained and qualified as dentists as well as facial aestheticians therefore, they have a very in-depth knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the head and neck along with the necessary medical background & educational knowledge to support this.
So, the reassurance you have is that as a practising dentist of over 22 years, Lina is highly skilled when it comes to pain free injection techniques for the comfort of her patients.
Outside of dentistry Lina is married to Shrik and has two daughters-Siyana and Anya. She enjoys travelling, walking and keeping healthy through practicing mindfulness.

"Like a lot of people I'm not overjoyed at going to the dentist and I'd had a particularly difficult experience at my previous surgery so I was very anxious.
From the very first phone call with the genuine and understanding receptionist to the initial review with the dentist and the eventual filling I needed, everything was calm and reassuring.
The waiting room doesn't smell or sound like a traditional dentist which was a huge relief. The dentist patiently listened to my concerns and made every effort to make it easier for me.
I was prepared for some pain but the system they use delivered the anaesthetic effectively and I honestly felt nothing other than a single sharp scratch and the mild vibration of the drill. It was a revelation!
