Practice Manager National Certificate in Dental Nursing (NEBDN), Dental Radiography and First Aid | GDC No. 155679 Jo is a familiar friendly face to many of you. She is our ambassadors of first impressions, our patient co-ordinator and practice administrator. She has a warm, welcoming and kind nature which means she is very easy to get on with and has the ability to make people feel at ease.
Jo started out her dental career as a dental nurse in 1999 and joined Glen Dental in 2013, taking an administrative role. Jo is always at hand to deal with any enquiries and is happy to help all the time. She enjoys the daily contact with the patients and prides herself on putting them at ease.
Jo ensures that all patients receives a warm welcome and is made to feel completely at ease with her calming persona. She always endeavours to make your visit to the practice as comfortable and informative as possible. She particularly appreciates seeing the impact we make to people’s lives in terms of their increased personal confidence following dental treatment
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children in their many clubs. Jo’s highlight of the year is when she has a family holiday to sunny Mablethorpe!

This was my first treatment at Glen Dental and the experience was all round very comfortable and felt minimally invasive. "Like a lot of people I'm not overjoyed at going to the dentist and I'd had a particularly difficult experience at my previous surgery so I was very anxious.
From the very first phone call with the genuine and understanding receptionist to the initial review with the dentist and the eventual filling I needed, everything was calm and reassuring.
The waiting room doesn't smell or sound like a traditional dentist which was a huge relief. The dentist patiently listened to my concerns and made every effort to make it easier for me.
I was prepared for some pain but the system they use delivered the anaesthetic effectively and I honestly felt nothing other than a single sharp scratch and the mild vibration of the drill. It was a revelation!
I would highly recommend to anyone who is feeling anxious about treatment. Their fees are clearly stated and they consult with you about each item of the treatment plan they suggest so no nasty surprises when you come to pay. A positive experience from start to finish."

I was so nervous but from the first phonecall I felt at ease with them. Jo is a diamond and so welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. She has a personal touch that really makes you feel comfortable in these situations.
Ricky is my dentist and him and his lovely assistant really made me feel so much calmer and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of my deep cleaning. I’m now on a dental plan with them and can already notice a huge difference in my gums firming back up!
